Display company ‘WasabiMango’ recently launched a portable monitor ‘Artview FHD150 Ninbolt Woman1’, in collaboration with graffiti artist ‘Ninbolt’ in South Korea.
This product has 15.6-inch 1980 * 1080 resolution IPS panel, convenience to use with USB power, and expandability through Samsung DEX. It weights 600g. On the screen cover there is ‘woman1’, which is a work by the graffiti artist ‘Ninbolt’.
Later, ‘WasabiMango’ released ‘ArtView QHD130 Ninbolt Woman2’, which supports QHD resolution, and ‘Artview FHD160 Ninbolt Woman3’, which supports 144Hz refresh rate. The work of Ninbolt was also engraved on this product.
■ 2560 * 1440 resolution, ‘Artview QHD130 Ninbolt Woman2’
The overall design of the ‘Artview QHD130 Ninbolt Woman2’(Woman2) is the same as the ‘Artview FHD150 Ninbolt Woman1’(Woman1). The width is 330mm, the length is 235mm. The bottom thickness is 9.2mm, the top thickness is 4.7mm. The magnetic cover is attached to the back of the product and can be used as a cradle, and its high elasticity supports the monitor well. The weight is 550g. In fact, the product is quite light. It feels like you're carrying a small book.
It is equipped with a 13.3 inch VA panel that supports 2560 * 1440 resolution. The contrast ratio is 1,000: 1 and the viewing angle is 178 degrees. In addition, up to 10 simultaneous touch inputs are possible. The brightness of the panel is 300 cd and the refresh rate is 60 Hz. The color gamut is 72% based on NTSC and 100% based on sRGB.
It also supports AMD FreeSync, Low Blue Light mode, and Overdrive(OD), High Definition Range (HDR).
It has two USB-C ports, a mini HDMI port, a micro USB port, a 3.5mm audio port, and two speakers with 1W output. Users can connect their laptops, PCs, and game consoles through the HDMI port of the unit, and connect them to laptops, smartphones, and Nintendo switches through the USB-C port.
With its mirroring function, you can send screen and sound of android smartphones to the monitor. You can also control your smartphone by touching the monitor screen. With iPhones, you can only send screen and sound.
Unlike 'Woman1', 'Woman2' has a micro USB port. This port is USB On-The-Go port. By using the gender, you can use a mouse or keyboard at the same time by connecting to a USB or USB hub.
It consumes 10W per hour. Devices that supply this amount of power are rare. In order to use it stably, it is better to connect separate power.
The menu lets you set the volume, brightness, saturation, blue light, free sync, overdrive, input source selection, and more. You can also change the screen mode, color temperature, HDR, and language settings. 'Woman1' was a bit uncomfortable because this menu can only be set with the wheel buttons. However, the way the menu works for ‘Woman2’ has changed more conveniently. Most of them can be operated by touching and dragging up and down.
■ 16.1 inch, 144Hz refresh rate, ‘Artview FHD160 Ninbolt Woman3’
The ‘Artview FHD160 Ninbolt Woman3’(Woman3) has a 16.6 inch screen and supports 144hz refresh rate. This is useful when playing games. The appearance of 'Woman 3' is generally similar to 'Woman 2'. It is 366mm wide and 228mm long, similar to the size of a B4 paper. The bottom thickness is 9.5mm and the top thickness is 5.1mm. The weight is 781g.
The product is equipped with a 1920 x 1080 resolution IPS panel measuring 16.1 inches. The product has a contrast ratio of 800: 1 and a viewing angle of 178 degrees. Like the Woman 2, it supports AMD FreeSync, Low Bluelight Mode, Overdrive (OD) and High Definition Range (HDR).
The color gamut is 72% based on NTSC and 100% based on sRGB. The brightness of the panel is 300 cd. The maximum refresh rate is 144 Hz. The higher the refresh rate, the smoother the picture. In fact, when I played Epic Games' Fortnite through Woman 3, it ran at 144 frames per second. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy the game with a smoother screen than before.
It has two USB-C ports, one mini HDMI port, one micro USB port, one 3.5mm audio port, and two speakers with 1W output. Users can connect this monitor to PCs, laptops, smartphones, game consoles. This product consumes 15W per hour.
WasabiMango has secured a good line-up of portable monitors. The product name is easy to remember as 'woman1', 'woman2', and 'woman3'. Of course, there are other portable monitors with similar specifications. However, this product is characterized by the work of ‘Ninbolt' in the product.
In addition, WasabiMango put the work of ‘Ninbolt’ on the product box. Thanks to this, the product box of the 'Woman' series can be used as a small interior accessory. In many of these ways, I think the ‘Woman’ series is a good option for consumers who want a portable monitor.
