TV is one of the most common interior products in the living room. And the technology of television has evolved rapidly.

TV screen quality has been increasing from black and white – color - SD (480P) - HD (720P) - Full HD (1080P) - QHD(1440P) - UHD (2160P). And now, UHD content is gradually increasing. UHD channels are available through IPTV. You can also view UHD content through streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube.

E6500UC is equipped with dedicated UHD MSTAR 3458 chipset and features 400cd/m² brightness, fixed contrast ratio of 6,000: 1, dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000: 1, a response speed of 5ms and Chroma subsampling of 4: 4: 4. Thanks to this, subtitles and letters are not distorted, and the screen is very clear. It also supports upscaling, which automatically improves the quality and color of low-resolution images.

I compared this product with other companies' products that have similar prices using Samsung panels. The response speed of E6500UC was faster than the other products by 1 ms. The contrast ratio and brightness of this product were also superior to those of other products. The contrast ratio is even 5 times better than one product. This difference in performance is very important for consumers who value the performance of TV panels.

The E6500UC is the latest product. Therefore, if there is an antenna capable of watching the terrestrial UHD, UHD terrestrial broadcasting can be viewed through the RF terminal. Even though UHD is not available, the upscaling function gives a better view.

Like many small and medium-sized enterprises, this model uses panel of major companies. So there is no big difference in image quality. For the same size panel, most companies use panel of major 2 companies. Therefore, each company seeks to gain competitiveness in other areas than the panel. They are Add-ons, prices and services.

■ Various functions and 'dynamic contrast' is GREAT

The size of this product is 1,454mm wide and 897mm long, and the thickness of the bezel is 12mm. Equipped with two 10W speakers and a 400X200 Vesa mount, it can be installed on the wall. The power consumption is 180W and the standby power is 0.5W. The weight is 20kg including stand. It is light compared to models of other company. The remote control is faithful to the basic functions. When the power is turned on, you can see the TV screen within 5 seconds.

There are two HDMI 2.0 ports supporting HDCP 2.2, two HDMI 1.4 ports, components, RF, optical output, and a 3.5-inch earphone. It can be connected to various devices. One of the HDMI terminals supports the MHL function, so you can see a small screen when connected to a smart phone. Devices supporting UHD resolution should be plugged into the HDMI 2.0 port.

You can play music and video files by plugging the USB memory into the USB slot. It Supports Xvid, Mpeg 1 ~ 4, H.264, etc. The image quality is 1980 * 1080 30 frames.

The TV set menu is faithful to the basic. Brightness, contrast, color, and color temperature can be adjusted in the image menu. In the sound menu, you can set treble, bass, and output settings. There are also the ability to turn off at a specified time, and 3-level image noise reduction function.

The E6500UC is a model for consumers who want cost-effective UHD TV. As a result, there is no internet connection or HDR capability. However, there is a mode that implements HDR-like functionality. It is the 'dynamic contrast' function. Using this feature gives you the feeling of using HDR.

Both games support HDR and there is a clear difference between the quality of 'dynamic contrast' function on and the quality of 'dynamic contrast' function off.

E6500UC does not support HDR, but the dynamic contrast function makes the dark place darker and the bright place brighter. This level of image quality can appeal to consumers who want superior screen quality without smart TV functionality.

The price of major company TV with smart TV function and HDR function is about 1,400,000 won(about 1,320dollors) in South Korea. Some models cost over two 2,000,000 won.(about 1,886dollors)

However, the price of the E6500UC, which has various advantages, is about 700,000 won(about 770dollors) including shipping and installation costs. 2-years warranty(panel) and one-year of free A/S are included.(In South Korea) If you have a variety of devices such as a console game machine, and you want to buy a TV at a reasonable price, the Innos E6500UC would be a good choice.
