'FIFA Online 4' has been released in South Korea. It is a free-to-play PC online game like ‘FIFA Online 3’. World Cup mode will be updated on the May 31st.
'FIFA Online 4' is a PC online soccer game developed by EA studio 'SPEARHEAD' and published by Nexon Korea in South Korea. As 'FIFA Online 4' has been developed with a new engine, the graphics quality has been improved compared to 'FIFA Online 3’, and a new defensive system which is named 'tactical defending' has been introduced. (In PVP mode, the user can only use 'tactical defending') 'FIFA Online 3' is scheduled to be closed on Aug 2nd and the in-game functions of 'FIFA Online 3' will be gradually reduced from May 17th to Aug 2nd.
Nexon Korea conducted 'FIFA Online 4' Open Beta Test(OBT) from May 17th to 23rd. On the first day of OBT, it ranked 3rd in the PC station ranking site 'Gametrics', and it topped the list of sports games. On May 24th, 'FIFA Online 4' was officially released in South Korea and the in-game shop was opened, where the user can purchase cash items such as 'player pack', 'package item' and 'TOP CLASS'.
World Cup mode, which is developed based on the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, will be updated on May 31st. In the World Cup mode, the user can select one of the 32 countries that have entered the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. World Cup mode is divided into PVE mode and PVP mode. Details of the World Cup mode will be disclosed on the May 31st.
