Mobile MMORPG 'EOS RED' will be launched in South Korea in the third quarter of 2019. 'EOS RED' is a mobile MMORPG developed based on PC MMORPG 'EOS'. 

Blue Potion Games held a press conference to introduce the mobile MMORPG 'EOS RED' at VSG Arena in Seoul on June 4th. Blue Potion Games is a subsidiary of Mr. Blue which runs a Webcomics platform.

'EOS' Launched in South Korea in 2013 and it has earned more than 70 billion KRW worldwide, and over 4 million users have enjoyed it. After it was launched in South Korea in 2013, it has been launched in over 60 countries including North America, Europe, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. 'EOS RED' is a mobile MMORPG developed based on 'EOS'.

“We have been focused on the core and basic elements of MMORPG. And we are really working hard to develop a fun and great game” Shin, Hyun-Geun, CEO of Blue Potion Games said.

The development team changed the User Interface and the level of difficulty to suit the mobile device. There are contents like 'Boss Dungeon', where up to 70 people can participate, and 'Siege' where a maximum up to 200 people can participate. Slaying other user is possible and legal in most fields. And the character dies, it drops items. There is an Auction House, and users also can trade items with each other. There is also a 'leader control' system where party leaders can control other party members at a four-player party.

Blue Potion Games has an experience of launching 'EOS' in various countries. Blue Potion Games plans to use this experience to launch 'EOS RED' around the world. In addition, 'EOS RED' will be ready to run on low-spec smartphones.

A homepage for pre-registering ‘EOS RED’ was opened on June 4, and closed beta test will be held in South Korea from 26th to 28th June. The release date is scheduled for the third quarter of 2019. Blue Potion Games will release this game in other countries such as China and Japan with local partners.
