WeMade CEO Jang Hyun-guk released a New Year's address for 2023. He expressed his will to continue the blockchain game business.

CEO Jang delivered a New Year's address titled 'The Foolish Old Man Removes the Mountains' to his staff on the 1st. “In 2022, we have gone through tremendous challenges and trials. Now we are being tested to see if we can overcome this ordeal”

He said, “In the process of technological innovation, great companies emerge and many innovative ideas emerge. Many of these companies disappear, but those that survive build positions that are unimaginable,” he said. “Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are no exception. To survive, a business must be sustainable. And we must be able to endure until the world accepts technology and ideas.”

He said, “WeMade is financially solid. WeMade has prepared key elements for the blockchain game business over the past year. The ordeal is painful, but through it, our vision and strategy become clearer, and our capabilities grow and grow. As one great philosopher said, what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger.”

CEO Jang Hyun-guk's goal is to develop Wemix Play into an open blockchain game platform that can be used all over the world. He also presented the goal of making Wemix into a digital economic platform that encompasses NFT, DAO, and DeFi, as well as developing and expanding Wemix Dollar, a stable coin.

CEO Jang said, “Wemade will achieve a lot this year. At the same time, WeMade will face many trials. And what we will achieve this year is just the tip of the iceberg compared to what WeMade will achieve in the future.” “Sometimes I wonder if a mid-tier game company can do this. The beginning of January 2018 was our determination, the achievements of the past five years were our perseverance, and the present trials and opportunities are our destiny. If the road we started is the road we have to go, we will go.”
