‘Summoners War: Chronicle’  global version sales exceeded $37 million in just 54 days after its release.

Com2uS held a conference call to announce first quarter results on the 11th May. Thanks to the continued success of ‘Summoners War’ and the success of the global version of ‘Summoners War: Chronicles’, sales in the first quarter recorded about $144 million. It is a 45% increase compared to the same period last year, and it is Com2uS' largest first quarter sales ever.

Com2uS was able to achieve such results in the first quarter thanks to the success of 'Summoners War: Chronicles' global version, which was released in Asia, Europe and South America in March. It has been very successful in Southeast Asia and Europe. Right after it was release, it ranked at the top of sales in mobile markets in various countries, including Germany, France, Austria, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. On the 25th day of release, it recorded cumulative sales of $22 million. And on the 54th day of release, the cumulative sales exceeded $37 million.

“Summoners War: Chronicles is expected to exceed the sales target of $75 million by 2023,” Com2uS Managing Director Kim Dong-soo said. In particular, the global version succeeded in recruiting many users through active marketing. Thanks to this, the foundation for long-term success was well laid. In the second quarter, sales of ‘Summoners War: Chronicles’ are expected to improve further”
