On June 14th, Wemade held the second 'Wemix AMA' (Ask Me Anything) conference event online.
Wemade has announced that it will hold an AMA (Ask Me Anything) every quarter to strengthen reliability and transparency.
Wemade CEO Jang Hyeon-guk said, “A lot of unusual things have happened in the past three months. Wemade got caught up in a bad thing, and after that, Wemade is explaining various things. ‘Night Crows’ ranked first in sales in the mobile market. If we apply Wemix to 'Night Crows' and release it worldwide within this year, it is expected to achieve great success. Considering the increase in Wemade's capabilities so far, 'Night Crows' will make history."
Regarding the listing of Wemix, CEO Jang said, “I think it is a good thing for Wemix that the number of cryptocurrency exchanges where Wemix is traded increases. However, since the exchange does not inform us, we cannot specify the date.”
It was pointed out that the reason for the drop in the price of Wemix is the liquidation of the foundation, and that 500 million should be incinerated to control the increasing distribution. Regarding this, CEO Jang said, “It is a valid point. Our thoughts are open. However, such incineration is not considered. But if the strategy changes, there is no reason not to do it.”
Some pointed out that the direction of one of the goods of 'Mir 4' and 'Mir M', should be changed. CEO Jang said, “The game economy is complex. It is not easy to change in a short period of time, as we have to take into account the dysfunction.”
Regarding the new game developed based on ‘Anipang’, “It is true that the performance is not good. It's because we didn't develop the game well. We will continue to try until we succeed in a casual game based on 'Anipang'.”
Regarding the point that Wemix's payment and cashing process is inconvenient, CEO Jang said, "I admit it. It is inconvenient for users. It will be improved with a simplified update at the end of this month. But I know that it is not enough yet."
Regarding the argument that P2E games are identical to illegal gambling games, CEO Jang said, “It is difficult to understand in what context the two are the same game. I think this is a strange claim. Rather than that, the allegation that Wemade engaged in illegal lobbying is more highlighted. I know what Wemade did. So I said that Wemade did not engage in illegal lobbying. However, he is claiming that Wemade did. As a result, Wemade has stated that it has no choice but to take responsibility for the damages suffered. That person is making claims without a single objective piece of evidence.”
