"TFT Macao Open" took place at The Venetian in Macao from December 13th to 15th. The open tournament began with a bang on the first day, with 512 professional gamers, influencers, and the general public arriving in one venue. The participants were grouped into sets of eight, with the top four from each group moving forward to the next round.
QWER's Chodan and Hina had sparked interest by declaring their participation as players ahead of the tournament. Notably, they have been actively playing Riot Games titles and engaging with fans, as well as making a unique move by participating in "Teamfight Tactics."
On the first day of the "TFT" schedule, Chodan and Hina started the competition with the support of the two other band members, Magenta and Siyeon. They were placed in a group with global "Teamfight Tactics" powerhouses, resulting in keen interest on-site. Notably, Chodan was seated next to Title, a Japanese pro gamer who has won the Tactician's Crown twice, indicating there would be a challenging path ahead.
Despite their hopes for advancing further, both members concluded their journey in the first phase. After the games, Chodan and Hina shared their brief impressions of the real tournament experience at the Macao Open.
Chodan commented, "My group included Title, who has won the 'Teamfight Tactics' championship twice. Initially, I was very excited and nervous to compete against such great players, but I tried to focus. Although there was a skill gap, I still enjoyed the tournament and the 'Teamfight Tactics.' I would like to dedicate this honor to the Scuttle Crab fans who supported us on-site."

Hina added, "There were many skilled players in the matches that I played, so I worked hard on my strategy to hopefully secure a spot in the top four. Regardless of the outcome, I think I will never forget the memories I made with Chodan participating in the 'TFT Macao Open' as players. I am grateful to the Scuttle Crab fans who always support us."
Meanwhile, at the "TFT Macao Open," 64 players out of 512 were selected on the first day. These players competed again on the second day, and the final eight designated to participate on the third day were chosen. The last eight players will battle it out for the Tactician's Belt in the ultimate showdown during the final stage.
