Journey of Monarch Launches Fan-Created Hero ‘Zen’

NCSOFT today announced the arrival of a new hero, Zen, for its idle MMORPG, Journey of Monarch.

Zen is a fire-element, melee Legend-grade hero who unleashes powerful skills like Divine Art of Flames and Frost to strike enemies and increases allies’ critical hit rate.

The new hero is based on a fan-created design submitted during the Fan Art Event. Developed from the winning concept, Zen was praised for its originality and broad appeal, as previously highlighted by developers during the ‘Channel Journey’ livestream.

The update also introduces new Solidarity-grade Heroes and Magic Dolls. Players can acquire Skeleton Warrior, Deranged Zealot, and Wicked Zealot as Heroes, and Kutun Orc Fighter, Kutun Orc Mage, and Kutun Orc Chopper as Magic Dolls. Registering them in the Codex increases the player’s Attack stats.

To commemorate the update, NCSOFT will host a new episode of Channel Journey on July 8 at 8PM (KST) via the official Journey of Monarch YouTube Channel. The development team will address player feedback and share upcoming update plans.
